Automation of existing valves at chemical process site

A major chemical process site had a requirement to automate valves in a large section of their plant, but due to running conditions, they were unable to isolate, drain and remove the existing manual ball valves and replace them with actuated valves.

We were able to think outside the box, sending engineers to the site to identify the existing valves and supplying the following actuation products:

ATEX certified Nutork pneumatic actuators fitted with top-mounted switch boxes and solenoid valves complete with mounting kit and all associated fixings and bolting to suit the existing valves.

The automation of the existing installed valves avoided any downtime for the Chemical Process site and saved valuable time and money.
