Lance Blackburn

Lance is a CIBSE Certified Heat Network Consultant with a BA Hons in Industrial Product Design and over 13 years of industry experience. This includes working closely with contractors and consultants on technical designs for heat network projects.

As National Sales Manager he is responsible for driving sales for our prefab division as well as generating new business for our heat interface unit range.

He previously headed up the specification and energy distribution division at Flamco, which covered HIUs, transfer units, packaged plantrooms and thermal substations.

Lance’s hobbies include golf, kayaking, the gym and BBQs and beers. Currently, he is pursuing his LAPL (Light aircraft pilot’s license).

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

Supporting clients with design queries and matching the right product to their specific needs.

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?

To fly. Flying over motorway traffic would make my job so much easier! I would be home by lunch! Also, way more fun than taking lifts when conducting site visits on high rise buildings.
