Robert Wieczorek

Robert works as a CAD designer and FCU/HIU technician at Essco, combining design expertise, engineering knowledge and hands-on production experience. His role includes preparing detailed drawings and technical documentation, as well as supporting unit assembly on the shop floor to maintain high levels of precision, quality and continuous learning through real-world application.

Alongside these responsibilities, he plays an important part in the development of several projects using stream filtration and dosing units. He is involved throughout the entire journey from early concept work through to completion, ensuring strong technical input at every stage.

Robert holds a Master’s degree in Automation Engineering and a Postgraduate Qualification in Computer Science. With several years’ experience as a SolidWorks designer and hands-on work with CNC machinery, he’s built a strong technical foundation that spans design and production.

His background has given him a broad understanding of electronics, electrical systems and IT, helping him connect the dots between digital controls and real-world engineering. It’s this blend of knowledge that fuels his curiosity for new technology and practical problem-solving.

Outside of work, Robert immerses himself in music, playing guitar and building custom instruments as an amateur luthier. Married and living in Hampshire for more than two decades, he enjoys weight training and long treks with his equally driven better half.

The most inspiring part of my job is giving supportive guidance through the critical stages of project execution. I take pride in collaborating and empowering the team to bring our best work forward to see the company’s project match a final product.
