Joanna Knight

Joanna is responsible for all things financial, most importantly controlling Essco’s financial processes, managing the accounts, paying the bills and supporting the management team.

She is AAT qualified, with over 15 years finance experience.  Joanna has held roles and gained valuable experience within a variety of industries including plastics, clothing, vehicle hire, and now HVAC!  A passionate team player, Joanna enjoys holding a role that is in the heart of the Essco business.

Outside of work, her nephew and netball are her No 1 passions. She once played for the Cayman Islands national team and was surprised and happy to win Southampton ‘Players player’ award in 2019!

What topic could you give an hour-long presentation on with little to no preparation?

Food – I think enjoying food should be a prerequisite if you want to work at Essco.

It is the second most talked about subject in the office – after valves, of course! As a company, our favourite way to socialise outside of work is over food and maybe a few cocktails thrown in for good measure.
