Chris Parry
EPV National Sales Manager – Divisional Lead
Chris is at the helm of our Essco Process Valve division, overseeing its management and growth within Essco Group.
With a wealth of experience in process valves, steam and instrumentation, Chris built his experience from the ground up. He started his working life in a warehouse, assembling valves and actuators, before working his way into an internal sales role. This led to opportunities in product management, business development and sales management. In his most recent position, Chris was managing director of a UK subsidiary of a Swiss company that provides instrumentation to the water industry.
Chris holds a BTEC qualification in Design of Steam Systems and a Supervisory Management qualification.
Married with children, Chris’s youngest is 7 and his eldest is 25. He loves spending time with his family and weekends are filled with football. He likes to stay fit and trains early each morning in the gym, which sets him up for the day. Among his hobbies, Chris is a big boxing fan and has recently taken up golf.

What’s the best advice you were ever given and who was it from?
I remember being told very early in my sales career how crucial relationships are. The core idea that “people buy from people” really resonated with me and shaped how I approached things. It’s something I’ve always worked to throughout my career and am proud of.
What topic could you give an hour-long presentation on with little to no preparation?
Farming (I grew up on a farm and love talking about it!)
