Last week, this plant room was safely delivered to Northolt High School in Harrow, where a major redevelopment led by Kier Construction will create space for 1,130 pupils and target a Net Zero rating.

Working with heat pump specialist G-Core, we were commissioned to construct this packaged plant room solution to house:
• 3 ground source heat pumps
• Buffer vessels
• District duty standby pump sets
The school’s design combines low-carbon heating and domestic hot water, green roofs and PV arrays to generate onsite electricity, setting a forward-thinking standard for education buildings in the UK.
With a footprint of 14 m x 6.2 m, the plant room was built in two sections for safe transport and to be lifted and lowered safely into place, all of which took place last week by our build team.
We are proud to help bring this project to life and support a more sustainable future for the next generation.
