We have updated our popular Water Meter Assembly (WMA), part of the Essco Fit and Forget range, with a new carrier and improved pressure rating. The water meter carrier has been redesigned and includes a dust cap to protect from contamination on site. These enhancements provide an overall reduction in weight and improved handling for the installer. Now, PN16 rated, the WMA provides improved resistance to primary operating conditions for peace of mind.
WRAS Approved for Complete Confidence
Our new assembly is also WRAS approved, which confirms that it has been thoroughly tested to demonstrate it’s of a suitable quality and standard against the requirements of the Water Fittings Regulations and Scottish Byelaws. These new developments build on the current features, which include –
- Compact and space saving (Half the size of traditional branch valve assemblies)
- Easy to install, either horizontally or vertically
- Position of water meter can be adjusted to suit, making it easy to read the display
- Supplied pre-tested to save time on site
- Robust, with minimal service and maintenance requirements
- Supplied with carrier, ready to fit any approved water meter (or with 80-110mm spacer where required)
- Supplied with insulation as standard, which provides protection and reduces heat loss and risk of condensation
